1. A laptop (Windows or Mac, NOT iPad), charger and a USB mouse. The laptop should be able to connect to wifi networks without restrictions, and have a web browser installed, e.g., Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari.
2. A notebook and pen for sketching ideas.
3. A drink bottle.

We will provide laptops and robotics learning sets, so all you need to bring is:

1. Curiosity and enthusiasm.
2. Morning tea & lunch box.
3. A water bottle.
4. A hat for outdoor play (in summer time)

No worries, nothing can stop a determined mind!
If you don’t have a laptop, make a note during enrolment indicating that you need to use Ant Programming provided laptop in class and we will get you covered. No extra cost applied. A limited number of laptops available.
If you occasionally forget to bring your laptop, talk to our friendly educators and they will sort it out for you.

Programming classes start on time. Drop-off is available 5-10 minutes before the fun starts so the class educators will have enough time to set up the student laptops.
Pick-up is available at the end of each class, no later than 15 minutes after class completes. If you miss the pick-up time, we will call you and keep your children engaging in the classroom until you come. AUD $10 will be charged for every 10 minutes wait.

Yes, both Scratch Level A courses and Robotics Foundation courses are suitable for beginners. Zero programming knowledge and experience required. 

Students will learn computer science fundamental concepts through various learning activities, hands-on projects and fun games. They will work through the program at their own pace.

We will be very much regretful to hear this, but sure you can. Please note that the refund must be requested in writing and verified by the AntProgramming office.

• Refund will exclude AUD $15 as the registration fee.
• Refunds for card payment will be issued back to the card. For other forms of payment such as cash or cheque, a direct bank transfer will be the form of a refund. It could take 7-10 days to be refunded to your card or bank account.

For school term courses 

• Full refund for change of mind after the first class. If a student withdraws after the second class, refund on a pro-rata basis is available.

For holiday camp programs

• Full refund if you notify us 14 days before the program starts.
• 50% refund if you notify us 7 days before the program starts.
• 20% refund if you notify us less than 7 days before the program starts.
